Travel, for me, has grown into something transformative...physically,emotionally,spiritually as well as behaviorally. It's encouraged me to become a better version of myself. Each new adventure opens my heart and mind to new information, new customs, new friends...Indonesia was no exception.
Full of beauty, mystery, ancient historical monuments and temples dating back to the 3rd century, different customs, different foods, animals that can only be seen in the wilds of Indonesia... and, of course, wonderfully warm, helpful, welcoming people.
I've wanted to go to Bali for a very long time...a dream fulfilled!! But Bali is only one of a little more than 17,000 islands...6,000 of them inhabited...that make up Indonesia. We visited Java, (the most populous island in the world,) Borneo, Rinca and Komodo Islands. Consider this a photo essay...a tribute to the magic of the Indonesian islands...
