A Visit with Family...Toronto
September 25, 2010... It was starting to smell like autumn as we navigated downtown Toronto from Queen Street, through Chinatown to Kensington Market. Several trees were already starting to alter their wardrobes. It was the last part of morning- puffy white clouds scudded across the azure sky on a perfect day. The streets were full of couples clutching hands, individuals cell phoning, vendors hawking, young headphones hopping. CN Tower dwarfed most of the surrounding buildings in the modern cityscape that is DOWNTOWN. Typical tourists, we looked around us, marveling at the shops, theatres, restaurants, the tall office buildings, the people and the marvelous street art...genuine expressions of this multi-cultural metropolis. We enjoyed our surroundings and each other...my husband, his brother and sister-in-law, (visting from Salt Lake City, Utah,) and yours truly, Abby

Lovely photos and prose to match - Abby - the sculpture coming out of the building is amazing as is the street art! It certainly is a post that is 'right up Layla's alley!'
