THE HEART TURNS TO LOVE
February 7, 2014
Hi Folks!
Well, it's not Valentine's Day yet, but my thoughts for art have turned to love and the heart...like this one for SUNDAY POSTCARD ART paying tribute to a heart that's blue...
Here's a little LOVE graffiti for THE THREE MUSES...
Finally, for the TAKE A WORD art challenge blog, even the butterflies were flitting around a girl thinking of her love !!
Thank you for checking in...hope you're near your loved ones for the coming week... after all, it's almost Valentine's Day!
Have an enjoyable week.
Big Hugs,

Interesting and beautiful as ever Abby!
ReplyDeleteI love all three, Abby. Your artwork is such a joy to see. These pictures illustrate beautifully your wide range of styles. If I had to choose a favourite it would be the butterfly collage but it is a very close call.
ReplyDelete"Love"ly pieces! The blue heart is particularly dramatic; the graffiti is fun; the butterfly face is a much needed breath of spring.
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces! I especially like the first one! It's bold and powerful!
ReplyDeleteNice work, as always, Abby! Thanks for participating in our challenges!
ReplyDeleteThree really wonderful works of art. I especially like your butterflies so light and lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe butterflies are such beautiful accents for the girl in love! I've always loved graffiti, and the word love is perfect for putting on walls. I'm afraid all of us have suffered with a blue heart at some time in our life. You've captured the pain of a blue heart wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteYour work is always wonderful Abby but you Butterfly face just blew me away! Gorgeous! xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic artwork! I like the butterfly collage the most, so subtle.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, manus
Oh Abby these are all so lovely--and so different!
ReplyDeleteThree gorgeous projects, love the butterfly one especially.
ReplyDeleteFabulous blue heart for the 3 Muses challenge, especially the way she seems to be melting (a little like Amelie in the film 'Amelie' at a sad love point). The graffiti picture is great, and your butterfly girl for TAW is just beautiful. I love the way the butterfly shapes merge with her eye and lips.
ReplyDeleteyou create such beautiful art! i am so happy to find your blog and hope to visit often!
