JANUARY 17, 2016
It's a gray weekend with large snow-blanket patches scattered throughout the visible landscape. We surely could use a fresh carpet of snow...but this way, our squirrel visitors can find their food more easily!
SUNDAY POSTCARD ART's challenge group named "flames or fire" as its theme for the week...
TAKE A WORD wanted to know what we think of when we think "art..." Here are my thoughts...
I love the image of the little boy with the camera...a vintage image... to me, photography is art!
...and here's one more definition that I loved...it was online!
Finally, THE THREE MUSES requested the creation of a vintage collage...
Thank you for checking out this posting... hope to see you for the next!
Big Hugs,

So many beautiful images, it always overwhelms mt to visit your blog, they keep coming and coming, each one unique and very special. (I know it's a run on sentence, but that is EXACTLY the experience I have--every time!)
ReplyDeleteMuch to see and enjoy, Abby. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous collection Abby...you fire picture is spectacular and such awesome photos and collages a great week for you.
ReplyDeleteSuperb and I agree with the cartoon interpretation of art. Beautiful creative work and loving your blog. Adding to follow. x
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly capture the very essence of fire and flames in your Sunday Postcard Art piece, Abby. The fact that the female image is in the center of it all speaks volumes, doesn't it? Yet, we do survive every day! Love your work here!
ReplyDeleteGreat mix of works, Abby!
ReplyDeleteI particularly love the Belle Jardiniere piece you did Abby, always an inspiration -
ReplyDeleteA beautiful melding of ideas and expression. I love all of these.
